Annabelle & Sophie
We both immigrated to New Zealand in the year 2000. Suzy from the UK & Chris from Holland. We had individually decided that we needed a change of lifestyle & met by chance in Queenstown. Suzy was working at a Backpacker hostel & Chris arrived as a guest!
We have both well travelled & fell in love with the stunning scenery & marine life that Kaikoura has to offer. We worked hard for many years to achieve our goal of moving to Kaikoura & opening our own Bed and Breakfast. We opened Driftwood Villa Bed and Breakfast in October 2004.
Kaikoura has also been an ideal place to start a family for us. We are the proud parents of Annabelle, born in June 2005 & Sophie born in July 2007.
We choose the name Driftwood Villa because of our proximity to the beach, being a stones throw away, plus we like to search the beach for pieces of driftwood for our garden & home.
We are pleased to offer you our accommodation & look forward to making your stay most enjoyable & comfortable.
